Home Among the Gum Leaves
Kathy captured this Werris Creek local surveying his territory, from a grand old gum tree on Kamilaroi land. The contrast between the cockatoo and the eucalyptus leaves emphasises the unique textures and colours of this Australian environment.
Create a perfect focal point of natural beauty in your home with this piece which celebrates one of Australia's iconic creatures. The white cockatoo is a symbol of freedom and beauty, while the eucalyptus leaves represent refreshment and healing and strength. The natural simplicity of the composition and the colours and subtly varied tones will complement contemporary, minimalist or rustic decor. This is a perfect gift for anyone who cherishes Australian wildlife and the Australian environment.
A3 and A4 prints are made on beautiful, archival Ilford Galerie Textured Cotton Rag, (310gsm), the textured surface adding dimension to the delicate colours of the eucalyptus leaves and branches. For the traditional look and feel of a photograph, prints are also available in Ilford Smooth Pearl (310gsm), for quality weight prints with a smooth pearl finish eliminating glare.
